Nicole provides a wide range of art classes, workshops and mentorship that is creative, educational and fun. The scope is wide but includes things like small private art classes run from The Artist’s Studio, curriculum based workshops, specific project support, public events and gallery programs. Nicole is open to negotiating workshops or classes that are tailored to specific requirements. All workshops and classes can be delivered online or face to face.
All enquiries are welcome.
Come and join me at The Artist’s Studio in Camp Hill. It is a small, beautiful art studio nestled in a quiet garden setting.
I provide One on One and Small group art classes for a range of artists who attend. For example: Practicing visual artists come to refresh foundational art techniques, beginners come shaking in their boots and leave with grins on their faces, artists attend with carers/support person and there are creatives that just want to connect, chew the fat and have the fabulous ‘brainstorm’ sessions.
All of the above make up The Artist’s Studio.

“I wanted to thank you Nicole for delivering a great series of classes. Teaching is just process, but much more than knowledge transfer. You brought abundant enthusiasm and humour, and extensive experience and a solid grounding in your subject material. It's this (I think) that will have imprinted the 'learning' on everyone's minds, not strict adherence to any curriculum or structured process. While these two are important, it's often your unique intangibles that bring 'magic' to a class; the learning therefore is in exploring possibilities and getting our hands dirty. Your classes gave me the chance to get out of my head and into my heart, which was a nice change. Thankyou.” — Andy, Student, NatureArt Lab.
“Thank you Nicole for making this a calm, fun and inspiring class.” — Robyn, Student, NatureArt Lab.

“Nicole was a perfect fit for our organisation and the young people we cater for. She was extremely calm, patient and down to earth which made it really easy for the young people to connect with her and build rapport. The way Nicole delivered the program was very casual and easy going. You can tell that she is both very passionate and filled with knowledge about what she does to pass onto others. We had consistent attendance in this program which is something we don't see in other classes available at the YMCA. The young people that participated grew closer as a group and have now formed a lovely friendship circle which all started with connections made in this program. I had multiple young people report to me that they started to enjoy school more because they had opportunities to engage in something they are passionate about and doing art supported their mental health on bad days. It was wonderful to see what is possible with art and how anyone can do it no matter your skill level. Watching the young people learn to take risks and overcome their fears was very fulfilling.” YMCA Vocational School, Kingston.
